Holograph?

In November of 2023, I began for the first time a sincere exploration into the practical world of design collaboration with artificial intelligence. Since then, I have built roughly a dozen custom GPTs to help me process various forms of information into different useful outputs, ranging from carefully crafted imagery to genetic algorithms. After gaining access to GPT-3.5 and witnessing its capability to transform information from one type to another, I set out to answer questions that have lingered for many, many years. My quest has been to march toward the future, constantly refining the location of my target destination.

Since I was small, I’ve been fascinated by intelligence, consciousness, the substrate, origin, and procession of physical reality. I’m an idea generalist. What I mean by that is, I am generally interested in understanding what is known and what is unknown about a particular idea. This behavior has led me down a path of discovery, which has revealed insights into intelligence that I’ve long suspected, yet continues to surprise me with each new piece of evidence.

Many think of intelligence as the capability to solve problems or identify solutions, but I’ve come to see it differently. It feels more like the deliberate, unseen architecture of reality — a non-physical blueprint that shapes the physical world. It doesn’t seem confined to isolated entities; instead, it emerges between them — in the invisible threads linking real, imagined, and even mathematical constructs. It is, perhaps, the product of relationships more than of individuals.

So what is Holograph exactly? Firstly, it is an intentional reference to the holographic principle. Secondly, it is a design agency aimed at creating designs crafted from future-back thinking.

So far, we have released one GPT, Your [apprentice], which has helped users accomplish tasks in fields ranging from medical sales to grandparents making gifts for their grandchildren. As I began work to build more useful and helpful versions, it quickly became apparent that our ambition would not stop with toys.

Work to launch others has been pivoted toward designing a service that simplifies the creation of helpful design work across industries using intelligent tools.
